This position involves heading a team in the Electrification Smart Buildings, ensuring continuous and efficient production operations in line with plans, procedures, and quality and safety standards and policies.
In this role, you will aid in the transformation of parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner, managing resources to meet production targets.

Production Manager

Your responsibilities

• Leading capacity planning and resource optimization for the area of responsibility.
• Identifying deficiencies in production, proposing improvements, and overseeing their implementation.
• Identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements.
• Working with HR Management to ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
• Guiding, motivating and developing less experienced team members to reach their potential.

Your background

• Bachelor ́s Degree in Industrial, Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-3 years of experience as a production supervisor.
• Knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
• Experience in production lines and presses, bending and welding machines.
• Management of 15 to 20 people as direct report.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
• Availability to rotate shifts.
• Intermediate level of English.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
