Quality Inspector - Santa Isabel Xiloxoxtla, Mexico - Flowserve Corporation

Descripción

We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven professional to perform inspection activities as described in the procedures established by our Quality Management System.

The goal is to ensure that all products delivered to the final customer meet the specifications defined in engineering drawings, and to provide the required information to internal departments upon request.

Responsibilities & Requirements:
     

•      Register materials in SAP (confirm production order) for inspection and release

      

•      Complete inspection records accurately and ensure they are legible

      

•      Properly identify inspected or rejected materials according to procedures and/or customer specifications

      

•      Ensure that raw materials for stamping meet ASME, ASTM, and Engineering requirements where applicable

      

•      Generate QNs (Quality Notifications) for products out of specification, notify the responsible area, and follow up until final disposition

      

•      Ensure the quality of parts, components, assemblies, or any product at any stage of the process

      

•      Follow work instructions and procedures as defined by ISO 9001:
•      Address or escalate operators' technical questions

      

•      Contain material when there is a customer complaint

      

•      Issue certificates as required by the customer

      

•      Record scrap

      

•      Create photographic reports upon customer request

      

•      Approve the release of new products in the process

      

•      Validate process requirements (routes
•      Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects using Kaizen or A3 methodology

      

•      Address safety observations (Cority) in alignment with company goals

Preferred Experience / Skills:
     

•      Handling, use, and care of measurement instruments

      

•      Engineering drawing interpretation

      

•      GD&T – Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (ASME Y14.5M
•      Problem-solving skills (A3 methodology
•      Knowledge of measurement systems (Metric and Imperial
•      Experience using SAP

      

•      Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word
•      Yellow Belt / Six Sigma certification

      

•      Intermediate knowledge of statistics

      

Understanding of ISO 9001:

•      Familiarity with Layered Process Audits (LPAs
•      Knowledge of Quality Tools

      

•      Operation of testing equipment (PMI, Hydrostatic, Torque, Penetrant Testing
•      Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
