As a
Sales Representative / Business Developer - North America** at Studyportals, you can be part of our mission and help our team in further stabilizing and developing our market leading position.


You will be part of our North American (NA) team acting as strategic advisors to university marketing & admissions staff.


This role is based in our Monterrey, Mexico office and our office is located in San Pedro Garza Garcia near many hotels, restaurants, commerce, etc.

Your role

  • Working in the North America Business Unit, you will be responsible for the initiation and growth of relationships with the top universities in the US, helping them to better understand and decide on our product usage the Studyportals student recruitment campaigns.
  • Next to prospecting new accounts, your focus of activities will be on closing these accounts through calling, online or inperson meetings.
  • Manage a territory, where you will be responsible for managing research, marketing and outreach focused on increasing our presence at institutions throughout your assigned area.
  • Supporting the North American team and taking an active role in further refining the strategy and approach of your region.
  • Represent the American university/commercial perspective in the overall company strategy deliver input for marketing and initiate innovation projects.
  • Represent Studyportals at conferences throughout North America, prioritizing those that are in alignment with Studyportals' strategy.
  • Develop relationships with industry contacts through trade associations, state agencies, community groups and other higher education organizations.

Requirements:


  • 13 years of experience working in a sales environment (within digital marketing is an advantage)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to quickly build rapport.
  • Confident in making calls with clients and prospects.
  • Ambitious, energetic and persistent, you are target oriented and resultsdriven
  • Notable analytical skills and strategic thinker; knowledge of Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Confident in an environment of frequent and direct feedback.
  • Near native in
    English, both oral and written (level C12 of the Common European Framework).
  • Familiar with the journey of international students studying abroad
  • Enjoys to travel.
  • A good team player, enjoys to contribute to the personal development of their colleagues.
