JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:

Essential Functions:

Process vendor invoices, investigate and resolve discrepancies and reconcile vendor accounts.
Assist in month end accounts payable jobs/ preparing monthly account reconciliations.
Process all check, wire and debit requests.
Runs all APrelated reports and manages AP mailbox distribution.
Support and colead organization's process improvement projects.
The employee has the authority to stop the production line, when he/she notices that the product has a quality problem or defect.
Support PSA Activities and procedures with team members.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Management & Supervisory Responsibilities:

Job is directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).

Knowledge:

Extensive working knowledge of accounting principles.
Intermediate working knowledge of accounts payable processes and ERP systems.

Experience:

24 years of AP accounting experience in a highvolume manufacturing environment.
SAP or other ERP experience preferred.

Skills:

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel).
Able to confidently and efficiently correspond to all levels of management.
Advanced independent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Shows commitment to process improvement.
Possesses excellent organizational skills.
Bilingual Spanish/English

Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance or related discipline required, MBA or CPA preferred.
