Individuals within the IT Engineer job family serve as the nexus for design, implementation, operation, and maintenance for IT services running within the organization.

They are responsible for the architecture and design of infrastructure for server, voice and communications, network, database, storage and desktop systems and platforms.

They are also responsible for isolating, diagnosing and restoring service for most IT (server, voice and communications, network, database, audio visual, storage and desktop) interruptions, escalating to higher levels of support when needed.

Other responsibilities include security administration and job scheduling management.

The IT Engineer is expected to be able to perform complex tasks and participates in medium and large projects with little direct supervision.

They participate in ensuring the availability and performance of infrastructure systems.

Additionally, the IT Engineer will suggest and implement improvements to Panduit's infrastructure systems and provide technical expertise and direction to other IT teams and departments.
