What you'll do:


Reporting directly to the Plant Manager and functionally to the Regional HR Manager, the HR Manager has responsibility for providing strategic and tactical HR leadership and support to the Plant Leaders in eMobility Tijuana, MX.

The individual will serve as the HR Business Partner for Plant ́s Leadership Team and will provide strategic HR leadership for the salaried and production groups.


Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

organizational design, change management, workforce planning, employee and manager coaching, performance management, succession planning and ongoing talent reviews, compensation, assessment and selection, manager on-boarding, and reporting and analytics.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure that the plant complies with all relevant employment legislation & company policies; support and advise plant management and employees in regards to company policy & national employment legislation.

Ensure compliance to all applicable legal guidelines and requirements.
Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton's ethics, goals, philosophies, vision and culture.
Drive positive employee relations to provide an optimal work environment for all employees.

Drive HR functional excellence through deployment of Eaton programs, ensuring quality of process and content and alignment with the Eaton Business System to achieve goals and objectives.

Effectively develop and deploy communication plans and utilize assessment tools (e.g. the employee survey) to determine organizational issues and action plans. Implementation and follow up on the strategy "employee's benefits package". Responsible for the local site labor strategy (union).
Promotes Leadership Development leveraging LeaderX.

Coordinates Employee Listening through Employee Survey, Round Tables, Skip Level meetings, Suggestions Box Supports HR function and strategy through Building Capability, Careers and Talent Ensure compliance to all applicable legal guidelines and requirements.

Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton's ethics, goals, philosophies, vision and culture.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 5 years of professional level HR experience in Manufacturing Industry.

Experience in training, recruitment, organizational developement, labor relations, internal communication.

English for business presentations (written and spoken), MS Office Excel, Word, Power Point, Office 365, TRESS

Experience working with active unions


Skills:

Effective communication, organization and prioritization skills. Customer service oriented.
