Supply Chain Operations Project Manager - DXC Technology - 100% Remote

About this role:


The Supply Chain Operations Project Manager is a key role within the Supply Chain Strategic Programs and MADO (Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures & Outsourcing).

He / She has overall responsibility for handling all aspects of project management for a transformation initiative or a strategic alternative transaction.

This includes an understanding of basic procurement processes, supplier contracts management, and communication management.

He / She also supports training and onboarding of procure-to-pay processes for new employees of DXC (including account leadership, delivery leads, and project managers) and handovers to Supply Chain procurement operations.

Additionally, the Project Manager will manage or contribute to special projects as assigned (i.e., runoff accounts, supplier relationships, and payment management).


What You'll Do:


  • Part of due diligence, assess the merging entity's processes, systems, and tools to identify the highlevel scope for integration to DXC
  • Understand divestiture plans to identify and document the impacted processes, systems, contracts, and purchase orders to effectively separate from DXC
  • Drive transformation projects endtoend through agile project management phases from requirements to implementation
  • Participate in Due Diligence, Peer reviews, and other stakeholders' meetings to refine the solution
  • Build and manage highlevel milestone plans and detailed project plan
  • Effectively communicate the project requirements, timelines, and status to the project teams including support to change management
  • Manage all aspects of project management including RAID (Risks, Action Items, Issues, and Dependencies) log
  • Manage all scope changes through the proper Change Request (CR) process
  • Establish cadence and organize regular meetings with the steering board, project teams, and end users for project progress and issue reporting
  • Work with the other regional teams for global deal coverage
  • Ensure compliance with DXC processes and policies
  • Ensure processes and (new) tools are properly documented, agreed upon, and signed off with key stakeholders

Who you are:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Advanced degree with Supply Chain Management background preferred
  • Typically, 8 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain function
  • Project Management experience in both IT and Supply Chain functions required
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, Prince II) preferred
  • Experience in Project Management Processes and Tools such as MS Project, Work Breakdown Structure, Budgeting, and Resource Management required
