at Oru Kayak. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by building
and maintaining relationships with retailers, attending trade shows and industry events, conducting cold
calls, and closing new deals. This role requires frequent travel to visit retailers and represent Oru Kayak
at various events.
Responsibilities:
- Cold Calling and Lead Generation:
- Conduct cold calls to identify and qualify potential retailers and customers.
- Introduce Oru Kayak's products and services, highlighting key features and benefits.
- Follow up with leads and prospects to nurture relationships and close sales.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM
- Sales Target Achievement:
- Achieve set sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to optimize sales processes and
- Product and Industry Knowledge:
- Stay uptodate with Oru Kayak's product offerings, features, and specifications.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain accurate and uptodate sales records, including customer information, sales
highlighting sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
Abilities, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Fluent English (Verbal and Written)
- Visa and Ability to travel frequently to visit retailers, attend trade shows, and industry
- B2B Sales Experience preferably in a similar role or within the outdoor industry.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills to secure new deals.
- Selfmotivated and targetdriven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales
Other Skills (Bonus/Not Required):
- Positive, sociable and willing to help (can do attitude)
- CRM experience
- Google Drive, Excel, Word, etc.
