Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience

Lean Tools 5S, Pokayoke, and Value Stream Mapping
DMAIC Methodology experience
Kaizen Methods
FMEA, PPAP experience
Visual Factory Management

Support Manufacturing Process Engineering activity

Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity
Develop action plans as required to investigate and prioritize quality concerns and verify corrective actions on internal processes and supplier processes
Lead and conduct process audits to ensure process discipline is consistent with guidelines
Create process and instruction sheets supporting quality methods and processes
Deliver capable processes and tools for machining operations
Lead role in resolving machining related concerns.
Lead variability reduction and lean manufacturing initiatives and best practices
Ensure compliance to Plant, Corporate, Governmental and Environmental standards
Support continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity
Identify throughput constraints and drive root cause improvements
Use company and industry standard processes and tools to plan, design, manage, and utilize gauges for measurement of machining parts.
Interpret data from inspection equipment and recommend responses
Ensure gauge calibration, certification, and repeatability and reproducibility
Determine locators and measuring points
Verify tolerance/engineering specification
Develop dimensional/product/process control plans
Define and conduct machine process capability analyses
