  • Lean Tools 5S, Pokayoke, and Value Stream Mapping
  • DMAIC Methodology experience
  • Kaizen Methods
  • FMEA, PPAP experience
  • Visual Factory Management

Support Manufacturing Process Engineering activity

  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity
  • Develop action plans as required to investigate and prioritize quality concerns and verify corrective actions on internal processes and supplier processes
  • Lead and conduct process audits to ensure process discipline is consistent with guidelines
  • Create process and instruction sheets supporting quality methods and processes
  • Deliver capable processes and tools for machining operations
  • Lead role in resolving machining related concerns.
  • Lead variability reduction and lean manufacturing initiatives and best practices
  • Ensure compliance to Plant, Corporate, Governmental and Environmental standards
  • Support continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity
  • Identify throughput constraints and drive root cause improvements
  • Use company and industry standard processes and tools to plan, design, manage, and utilize gauges for measurement of machining parts.
  • Interpret data from inspection equipment and recommend responses
  • Ensure gauge calibration, certification, and repeatability and reproducibility
  • Determine locators and measuring points
  • Verify tolerance/engineering specification
  • Develop dimensional/product/process control plans
  • Define and conduct machine process capability analyses
