Responsibilities:

Addresses sourcing projects with defined scope.

Deep understanding of spend and market trends for all managed Categories. Uses total cost and process-oriented approach to solve sourcing issues and develop long term supply arrangements.

Stewardship for supplier performance measurement and ongoing cost tracking.

Advanced cost reduction tools utilization.

Perform supplier agreements, contracts and other legal aspects.

Cross functional collaboration for problem resolution, as it relates to suppliers, pricing, continuity of supply and continuous improvement.

Knowledge:

MS Office

SAP

Ariba

Supplier development

Negotiation skills

LEAN Manufacturing tools

Improvement analysis tools

English advanced

Provides for timely and cost-effective procurement or subcontract administration of required fixed assets, parts, tooling, and materials and/or services according to technical, quality or quantity specifications. Includes analysis of purchasing needs, including analysis of costs and performance. Negotiates terms of purchase with vendor. Develops and administers a program for vendor selection and relations. Responsible for supplier qualifications and standards of quality. Supervises negotiations and administration of purchasing contracts. Drives strategic purchasing for a specific commodity or item, and ensures implementation of a world class supplier base.
