What you will do:


Oversees and coordinates the activities in a production area to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives while setting and/or prioritizing production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply.

Implements production and large-scale manufacturing procedures in a production environment in order to optimize processes and meet regulatory requirements. May review existing operational and process discrepancies in manufacturing and provide technical expertise to improve procedures.

  • Continuously comply will all related regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible to stop further processing in the event of encountering nonconforming product condition.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities through group leaders who are involved in one or more production tasks, to ensure the continuous workflow as well as the fulfillment of projects according to the specifications of quantity and quality
  • Understand and maintain the Key Performance Indicators for efficiency and performance are met or exceeded.
  • Understand and maintain production is cost effective by monitoring overhead, materials, hours, throughput
  • Understand and maintain to set standards highly regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and COFEPRIS.
  • Manage and Process all timecards, timeoff and payrolls adjustments necessary for each employee.
  • Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Promotes engagement and lead impact planning activities to meet or exceed the business key performance indicators.
  • Will train and/or coordinate for the training of personnel within assigned area
  • Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; establishing priorities, revising schedules and solving problems to ensure goal attainment with regulatory compliance in the assigned production area.
  • Understand and maintain the business unit achievers Safety, Quality, Delivery Financials and people related goals
  • Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action
  • Analyzes production programs and estimates manhour requirements to complete the assigned job.
  • Submit periodic reports, in writing and in person by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data
  • Participate and may lead Continuous Improvement Projects or Implementing Improvement Ideas
  • Ensure Operation of Equipment in collaboration with the Maintenance and Engineering Department
  • Participates in Operational meetings, Unit Reviews, Staffing Reviews and any other presentation to management.
  • Liaison between management, support team and manufacturing associates.
  • Ensure employees understand their responsibilities and perform duties in compliance with EHS procedures
  • Identify EHS risks in his/her area and implement controls to minimize them.
  • Ensure that associates have current knowledge of the EHS risks associate to his/her area and the benefits of improved EHS performance.
  • Will coordinate the activities of at least 30 or more nonexempt employee.
  • Will coach and develop direct reports.
  • Appraises the performance of subordinates based on preestablished performance parameters and recommends the appropriate development plans. Recommends or initiates personal measures such as promotions, transfers, dismissals and disciplinary actions.

What you need:


  • 2+ years related manufacturing environment or experience as Production Supervisor
  • Engineering or other Professional Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Intermediated English (Desirable)
  • Leadership (Results through people engagement and team work)
  • Analitic skills, problem solving and decision making
  • Communication, conflict resolution and supervisory skills
  • Flexibility and change management
  • Availability to work in the 4th Shift (Night shift)
