What You'll Do

Security Detections:Accurately respond to and document security incidents, following detailed procedures to track and resolve issues.

Incident Management: Manage security breaches, participate in containment strategies, conduct forensic analysis, and drive the eradication of threats.

Proactive Threat Hunting:Utilize existing and emerging threat intelligence to conduct and review threat hunts, managing any identified risks.

Tuning and Optimization:Take ownership of tuning security tools and processes, ensuring efficient operation and effective threat coverage.

What You May Need to be Successful:

Location: This position is remote but requires residency in Mexico, preferably in or near Mexico City.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields, or equivalent technical certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in cybersecurity, with proven skills in incident response and threat management.
On

Call Requirement:

Ability to participate in an oncall rotation approximately once a month, which may include additional oncalls during longer months.

Skills: Strong technical understanding of cybersecurity practices, including proactive and reactive measures.
Abilities: Excellent analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Certifications: Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
