    We are looking for a Manufacturing engineer to join our team. Based in the City of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, you will be responsible for Provide technical engineering support to manufacturing operations, customers and suppliers. He/she has the responsibility and authority to fulfill all quality-related activities and the EMS must comply with the standards of IATF 16949:2016, ISO-14000 and ISO 45001

    Main Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical assistance to ensure quality of production, product engineering and materials to resolve operational issues and launch of new or modified products/
  • Work closely with the client to ensure that their needs or expectations are met to the greatest extent possible.
  • Conduct time studies/value stream mapping.
  • Develop process flow design / Line design.
  • Define tools and machinery, request help to install.
  • Demonstrate tool and machinery capability/suitability for launch.
  • Provide work instructions and training for assigned programs.
  • Upload process work instructions to the MRP system.
  • Support Continuous Improvement Programs.
  • Support customer corrective action requests.
  • Keep machine usage records up to date.
  • Keep the area design updated. Provide technical support for production and quality.
  • Define material handling equipment.
  • Define cost reduction opportunities.
  • ECN 'Database Coordinator.
  • Master AR's file coordinator.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes, equipment and tools for process capacity improvement, cost reduction, machine standardization and/or quality improvements and implementation of required changes.
  • Analyze potential new products and develop cost estimates for manufacturing, equipment and tools.
  • Determine customer requirements or other engineering change, document changes and implementation.
  • Maintain all documentation in accordance with IATF 16949: 2016, ISO-14000 and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Responsible for the development, documentation, planning and implementation of manufacturing processes, procedures and standards that may be applied to new or existing products.
  • Develop manufacturing requirements for tooling, equipment, plant layout, material handling flow, and facilities.
  • Research, select and coordinate the acquisition of equipment and tools necessary to support the manufacturing effort. Coordinated installations, relocation and commissioning of equipment and tools for new products or improvements to existing processes. Design and coordination of production measurement accessories and Poka Yokes.
  • Who are we looking for?

  • Degree in Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive and manufacturing industry.
  • Wire harness experience (2 years minimum)
  • intermediate English
  • QAD (a plus) Auto Cad.
  • Knowledge of Organizational Quality Objectives
  • Teamwork
  • Negotiation skills with internal/external clients.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Computer skills: Excel, Word, projector.
