    Major Responsibilities :

    Manages environmental, health, safety, and sustainability activities through implementation of policies and programs in a smaller location or a part of a larger plant or a specific functional specialization of a larger plant.

    Takes proactive measures to promote the well-being of employees and communities where we work.
    Investigates and maintains records of all work-related injuries and / or illnesses, for assigned location(s). Provides statistical analysis and assists in the development of effective health and safety countermeasures to continuously improve safety standards.
    May perform activities at alternate locations as assigned by EHS Manager.

    Establishes measurable standards, conducts routine workplace safety inspections, prepares reports for management and monitors results to ensure continuous improvement of safety standards.

    Ensures compliance.
    Coordinates EHS training, emergency preparedness, and practice drills to raise awareness, promote safety standards and ensure compliance.

    Performs regular environmental audits and efficiency testing, related to AIR, Energy, Water and Waste identifying opportunities and developing corrective actions in coordination with the plant managers and Regional Safety Manager.

    Identifies, prepares, and monitors timely and accurate filing of government reports, permits, certifications and required correspondence.

    Helping to define the annual EHS budget for the business area, monitoring and managing performance against financial targets and constraints.

    Do the Occupational Risk Assessment and Environmental analysisImprove H&S skills of employees and could take in charge trainings activities, communication campaigns, teamworkRequired Education / Experience / Skills :
    Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent with additional professional qualifications in HSE & Safety Management Systems.
    At least 3 years in a similar position.
    Green Belt / Black Belt preferredStrong planning and organizational skills.
    Effective communicator (verbal, written).Analytical / data drivenStrong written and verbal communication skills required in both Spanish and English. Must have ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

    Behavior Based SafetyExperience working with C-TPAT, OEA, ISO (Internal Standard Order and 45001Knowledgeable of country regulations and legislation (STPS, SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, IMSS)Experience in continuous improvement projects, lean manufacturing, six sigma, 6's.
