Goals:


Additional Responsibilities:


  • Provide consultation on issues related to legal and procedural compliance, employee relations, and performance management
  • Work closely with the business and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase employee commitment, engagement, productivity and retention
  • Maintain strong relationships and communication with managers to keep abreast of employee relations concerns with aim to collaboratively resolve any issues
  • Support the development and implementation of HR related initiatives, policies, procedures and best practices
  • Actively participates in key leadership meetings of the assigned client groups
  • Partner with client group to improve HR practices, process decisions and programs
  • Administer country wide employee benefits programs
  • Manage all disability claims and health and safety matters for designated client groups
  • Provide guidance and advice on all queries relating to HR policies and practices
  • Maintain an understanding of legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring full legal compliance to protect the interests of the employees and the Company
Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years progressive Human Resources experience, preferably as a Generalist
  • Bachelor degree with concentration in business/Human Resources or equivalent work experience required
  • Previous work experience within a call center is an asset
  • Strong working knowledge of all applicable employment laws
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills to effectively deal with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to diagnose complex employee relations issues
  • Comfortable with change and managing to tight timelines
  • Proficient consulting, coaching, and collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to influence and build credible and effective relationships with all levels and across both the business and HR
  • Sound analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills with an ability to understand broad Human Resource issues and resolve conflict situations in a diplomatic manner
  • Resultsoriented, highly organized and have a demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent facilitation/presentation skills
