    As a Senior Finance Analyst on the Treasury team, you will be responsible for analyzing and proposing assets and liabilities management strategies to optimize liquidity, profitability, and balance sheet efficiency. You will manage cross-entity liquidity, execute funding operations and investment strategies, and own regular daily, weekly, and monthly Treasury reporting to ensure effective cash management in the business.

    The role involves analyzing financial data to support strategic financial and business decisions. As a Senior Analyst, you will use data to determine if adjustments on funding mix or financial products pricing are needed to optimize profit and loss (P&L) and reduce volatility in the balance sheet. You will collaborate with the Finance Data team to develop databases and leverage tools like Python and SQL to automate reporting, analytics, and forecasting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with Financial Planning & Analysis, Data, Accounting, and Capital Markets to coordinate and execute daily liquidity and asset/liability management.
    • Maintain a dynamic and accurate cash flow and liquidity ratios monitoring and forecast system ensuring sufficient liquidity is available.
    • Conduct analysis to identify trends in cost of funds, deposits mix and runoff rates, and provide insights to senior management and business areas to implement corrective actions on pricing and product strategy when needed.
    • Manage and execute investment strategies to maximize interest income and minimize capital consumption. Maintain active, real-time portfolio reporting.
    • Propose other strategies to optimize the Asset/Liability Mix to maximize earnings on assets and minimize costs of liabilities considering appropriate risk management.
    • Evaluate how changes in macroeconomic and market variables affect financial performance of the company by running scenario and stress-testing analysis.
    • Build and automate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports distributed to the senior management team to ensure execution and performance against balance sheet, liquidity, and other financial key indicators while monitoring risks.

    Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, and at least 2 years of full-time experience in a financial and/or data analysis role. They should have experience building financial models, performing sophisticated financial analysis, and forecasting. Proficiency in SQL is required, and knowledge of Python is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. The ability to build good working relationships between teams and lead cross-functional work groups is also necessary.
