About the role

Main Responsibilities

• Making daily collections calls assigned from a daily or weekly call list.
• Obtaining payment or a promise to pay from his/her assigned borrowers, consistent with the
• Policies and Procedures of Camino Financial and corresponding laws, and keep the borrower committed to paying.
• Making and completing the followup calls and promising to pay on the scheduled date(s)
• Negotiate and recommend possible payment plans that provide optimal value for Camino Financial
• Provide feedback loops to Credit Underwriting to ensure riskier accounts are flagged accordingly
• Communicate with internal customers (Member Happiness, Underwriting, and Customer Service).

Education

• Essential: High school diploma
• Desired: Bachelor's degree

Experience

• Good understanding of Commercial Lending
• Excellent knowledge of billing procedures
• Knowledge of various collection techniques
• Contact clients and discuss their overdue payments
• Knowledge of collection laws and regulations
• Past experience in Collections, servicing, or customer service at a Commercial Lending Bank/Firm

Systems

• Working knowledge of MS Office and databases
