    We are in search of a meticulous and detail-focused Staff Accountant with expertise in handling Accounts Receivable to become a part of our team. The perfect candidate will be tasked with managing diverse accounting responsibilities, primarily focusing on supervising accounts receivable processes. This key individual will have a crucial role in maintaining precise financial records, ensuring prompt collection of pending invoices, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies. The Staff Accountant will also aid in general accounting tasks and contribute to the overall success of the finance department.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the accounts receivable process, which includes invoicing, billing, and collections.
    • Examine and reconcile customer accounts to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
    • Track outstanding balances and pursue overdue invoices to speed up payment.
    • Work together with sales and customer service teams to address billing problems and customer inquiries.
    • Generate aging reports and scrutinize accounts receivable data to spot trends and areas for enhancement.
    • Assist in month-end closing procedures, such as journal entries and account reconciliations.
    • Help in the preparation of financial statements and offer pertinent information for audits.
    • Keep records of accounts receivable procedures and advocate process improvements as required.
    • Support other accounting duties like accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, and expense reporting.
    • Stay informed about accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and precision in financial reporting.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated experience as a Staff Accountant, focusing on accounts receivable.
    • Solid comprehension of accounting principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in accounting software.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Detail-oriented with a superior level of precision in work.
    • Capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
    • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Yardi) is advantageous.
    • Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with auditing procedures.
    • Experience with US medical reimbursement billing is a bonus.
