WHAT TO EXPECT
As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Atlacomulco Plant you will be Brazing and heat treatment process engineer.

  • Responsible for brazing and heat treatment process development to meet Gates technical standards requirements for coupling manufacturing process to support product transfers from Gates USA Plants and new product launches.
  • Improvement of brazing and heat treatment technology within Gates facilities and suppliers to maximize value to our Company thru quality, cost, service and time delivery that meets customer requirements
  • Responsible to provide brazing and heat treatment process on time from prototype trials thru production stages

Key responsibilities:


  • Implementation and maintaining of performance standards for brazing and heat treatment
  • Develop reliability of brazing and heat treatment process from suppliers
  • Improve and optimize brazing and heat treatment processes

ABOUT YOU

  • Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering Degree
  • 810 years of experience in similar roll


  • English language level

  • Advanced

Knowledge of the following uses

  • Metal welding processes
  • Heat treatment process
  • Machining process
  • Understanding of Quality system operation
  • Comprehension of industry standards as SAE, ASTM, DIN, ISO
  • Interpretation of drawings
  • CAD software expertise, AutoCAD, Inventor, CREO
