Job Purpose and Impact


The IT Supply Chain Consultant will lead and provide direction to managers, professionals and indirect staff that will analyze business problems to be solved with automated systems.

In this role, you will lead, advise, and make decisions to help the team provide technical expertise to identify, evaluate and develop systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.

The role will partner with key stakeholders in BOSC and our Enterprises on strategic consultation, direction, and influence for technology enablement of business capabilities to bring to life specific supply chain business objectives and value.

Key Accountabilities

Oversee general workforce administration policies and programs.

Lead and monitor the use of existing solution versions ensuring team is driving, advocating and guiding the use of existing solutions.

Approve and assess more complex business model design plans for development.

Act as tactical leader throughout a moderate subset of the organization to ensure the processes and systems support the business.

Integrate more complex process areas, including data, education, and security across a moderate subset of the organization.

Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching, and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Lead the development and implementation of strategy for technology deep dives with a lens on end-to-end capabilities to foster the information technology strategy, including overall target and reference architecture and advanced technologies (when appropriate) to enable the functional business processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of six years of related work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Three years of supervisory experience
Business or information technology experience in the supply chain domain
Ability to keep pace with changing technology trends in the supply chain market
Deep knowledge of core technology systems that enable key supply chain business processes
Leader in using digital innovation to unlock key value opportunities for businesses
