Consulting Training Coordinator

The Team:
The Advisory Solutions (Consulting) team is an integral part of S&P Global Commodity Insights.

We provide custom-built, expert consulting rooted in market leading intelligence to help clients navigate the new era of energy and natural resources.


The Impact:

As the consulting training coordinator, you will ensure critical functions run smoothly and efficiently across the onboarding and career training processes for our Advisory Solutions (Consulting) team.

You will act as a training coordinator to make sure new employees feel welcome and engaged, and then promote timely and relevant training programs to continue career development.

Responsibilities:

The role of Training Coordinator will:

Lead onboarding activities for new consultants to make them feel welcome and engaged.
Lead training program for consultants to ensure career growth, to strengthen the bench, and to improve retention.
Support development and management of knowledge sharing system across global Advisory Solutions team.
Disseminate templates (e.g. PPTs, ThinkCell, etc.) to global consultants for consistency.
Work with Hiring Managers to ensure they understand their responsibilities and have the resources they need for onboarding new consultants
Work with external training providers if needed to organize training sessions for new and current consultants
Develop and implement process to solicit feedback on training program from new consultants with goal of making any necessary adjustments for purposes of continuous improvement


What We're Looking For:

Highly organized, business-oriented, with excellent communication skills
Demonstrable evidence of successful training program design and implementation
Proficient MS Office suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).


Required Education:
Bachelor's degree within relevant areas, e.g., business, marketing.


Required Experience and Capabilities:

Must have 3+ years of experience in training development in a corporate environment.
Organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and ability to work effectively individually and within a team.
High level of motivation and enthusiasm to deliver efficiencies
