The Workday Compensation IT Specialist forms part of the Application Development track in the IT function.This position requires analysis, integration development and configuration of the Workday platform..
In this role you will be expected to Analyze and create detailed business/functional/technical requirements and specifications Configure the Workday platform including integrations development Support testing deployment maintenance and evolution activities by correcting programming errors responding to scope changes developing enhancements Perform day-to-day Workday production support serve as subject matter expert for assigned HCM integrations Stay up to date with Workday enhancements future product releases to support HR teams
Responsibilities
- Provide strong analytical technical expertise within an assigned function(s)business unitsarea frequently leading a project team in the analysis design development implementation of business solutions Maintain awareness of current IT projects across PPG planned projects within their own IT group promote technology application sharing Collaborate frequently lead company customers staff members colleagues stakeholders defining customer requirements system interfaces assessing available technologies viable solution options Within a business unit maintain deeper knowledge various business processes systems applications participate in planning process Evaluating software packages making recommendations management Provide technical leadership on one or more projects give direction both employees contract resources oversee multiple projects simultaneously Translate business requirements into software communications equipment requirements application development Propose innovative technical solutions recommend security data solutions Create modify test programming code themselves lead teams consulting support on projects system issues Respond appropriately requests using analytical abilities skills isolate problems immediate needs analyze ramifications implement solutions
