Descripción
We are looking for a Billing Operations Specialist to join a transportation technology company based in the United States.

As the Billing Operations Specialist, you will work closely with internal departments to ensure accurate rates are being invoiced. You will be responsible for the proper delivery of the financial aspects of the business.

Work schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time.


WHAT YOUR DAY TO DAY LOOKS LIKE:

  • Align billing requirements for all new customers being onboarded, build SOP, and attach to customer's fil
  • Post shipments within 13 business days after empty termination and provide a final invoice(s) when instructed
  • Review and resolve customer billing disputes and provide revisions as requested by the customer
  • Review daily unbilled AR reports and work closely with Operations Specialists, Account Managers, and the Onboarding team about any issues delaying billing.
  • Audit all charges for accuracy prior to invoicing, review itinerary, and ensure all charges are being addressed and invoiced to the customer
  • Assist with invoice correcting entries (i.e. credit adjustments or additional charges) when instructed to produce credit notes or supplemental invoices.
  • Update the shipments with proper timestamps/dates/etc
  • Add applicable payable accessorials
  • Update billable accessorials

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:


  • Experience in Billing Operations, Finance, and Accounting (AR) is valued
  • Experience in transportation and logistics
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of the importance of data quality and billing process
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
  • Comfortable using online meeting and communication software frequently (e.g. Zoom, Google Meet, Slack, WhatsApp)
  • Selfmanagement skills: curiosity, problemsolving, time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
