Intern, Electronics Design Engineer:

POSITION SUMMARY**Assist Electrical Hardware Engineers in the development and design and testing of automotive electronic modules or instrument clusters. Work under the direction of an Electrical Hardware engineering mentor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Learn the Electrical testing process and reinforce the use of laboratory test tools.
Understand the requirements of OEM to test electronic modules.
Follow project plans, schedules, and action items.
Participate in the improvement of personal and departmental capabilities.
Learn, look for improvement, and participate in:
Schematic design and part selection activities.
Design calculations, and DFMEAs and run simulations.
Design Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) using company standards.
Conduct design verification testing and prepare engineering reports.
Prepare the design documentation for release.
Support investigation of project issues at the board and vehicle levels.
Provide manufacturing support during prototype builds.
Follow processes, procedures, and standards of Quality System in all work activities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Organization, communications, and documentation ability.

Degree Requirements:
Full-time student in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

Skills:

Skills on:

The use of Microsoft Office tools to document test reports and analysis is helpful.
Circuit verifications.
Usage of equipment such as multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply, electronic loads, signal generator, etc.,
Electronics circuits simulations software.
English conversational & written.

Travel Requirements:
Travel is unlikely
