A Senior AWS DevOps Engineer at Oceans can expect to work on multiple projects, work with a cross-functional team, and are transparent about time and tasks to help clients understand the progress of their projects.

This position is available only for people in LATAM

Summary

Responsibilities:

Migration to GitHub.
Work through the backlog of DevOps / CloudOps tickets.

Job Requirements

Great English proficiency (B2+ written and spoken).
8+ years of working experience with Cloud/Application Development/Platform engineering.
Impeccable punctuality; being on time for meetings is crucial.
Familiarity with Java and Python and related build tools (while these are not developer roles, familiarity with the tool chain is needed)
Working experience with AWS and related services such as:
API Gateway, CloudFront, Elasticsearch, Fargate, Load Balancers, OpenSearch, S3, RDS, R53, etc.
Containerized workflows with Docker, ECS and ECR
Basic understanding of AWS networking including VPCs, Subnets, Firewall, TLS, etc.
Experience with Terraform or other InfrastructureasCode tools for scripting and automation.
Experience setting up build and deployment pipelines and related developer workflows in tools like: Jenkins, GitHub, CodeBuild/CodeDeploy
