JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT
The Customer Risk Manager has three core responsibilities focused on customers of Cargill's Global Edible Oil Solutions business (GEOS), while also supporting the broader Cargill Price Risk Solutions team:

Trading - Executing risk management strategies on behalf of the select customers including sharing market bias and trading of futures, options and customized derivatives.

Sales - Direct contact with customer by prospecting and selling our Price Risk Solutions portfolio.

Commercial - Business development tasks in the Price Risk Solutions space focused on growing revenue from risk management services and products KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


Define the service level offering for customers aligned with the current commercial segmentation models and execute a customer segmentation strategy to identify which customers fall under specific risk management subsegments and actively pursue new customers.


Partner with account managers and corporate risk management contacts to provide consistent communication to customers on risk positions, market bias, targets, coverage versus plan and strategy.


Collaborate to market the complex risk service offerings of market insights, hedging solutions and active hedging strategies in the physical supply chain and execute within the individual trading strategies that align with customer and the company's trading bias to handle customer risk positions.


Participate to develop joint strategies and explore and support the development of a regulated pathway to implement innovative and compelling offerings to existing and select outside supply chain customers.


Partner with trading desk to utilize futures, options and risk management products to meet customer budgets, benchmarks or targets and leverage risk management infrastructure, intellectual property and strategic advantage to handle price risk for customers.


Monitor commodity markets to review activity in targeted markets and participate to make recommendations to the commercial team to maximize profit returns and minimize risk and also keep market positions within the established limits.

QUALIFICATIONS


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Minimum of four years of related work experience

Strong English written and communication skills


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Risk management or trading experience, including futures, options and advanced derivative s

Passion for the customer and experience in customer facing roles/responsibilities
