    General Summary:

    The UX/UI Designer will be part of a small design team that is responsible for the user experience across Qualcomm's customer-facing digital touchpoints.

    Responsibilities

  • Design marketing pages for from concept to build. Including wireframing, layout design, asset creation and QA.
  • Ability to own and extend the digital design system. Design new components in Figma—specifying states, breakpoints, and properties; handing off requirements to the dev team and communicating the enhancements to users of the design system.
  • Support senior designers with UI/UX projects, ability to take direction from leadership and execute on the idea.
  • Create web assets such as icons, infographics, illustrations and photo retouching.
  • Work closely with the development team, meeting daily— driving feature definition, bug reporting and enhancements. Familiarity with the front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript) is a plus.
  • Document and organize component feature designs and requirements, specifying states and CMS requirements.
  • Meticulous attention to detail. This role will be reviewing designs and features before they are published on the website to ensure the build matches the design at all breakpoints.

    • Qualifications

  • 5+ years of design experience in a consulting or in-house environment, or related work experience. Has previously worked with an existing design system and processes. Comfortable working with industry design tools (e.g., Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop)
