    What's this position about?

    This is our entry-level position, the first step on the ladder in becoming a media strategy professional. We'll take the skills and aptitudes from your university education and train you into the art and science of modern digital media buying.

    It's the start of a solid, upwardly-mobile career in media planning and strategy.

    Typically, people who are successful in this position have completed their undergraduate degree at a top university, acquired solid Excel analytical skills, and have shown leadership in projects that required fast learning and outstanding results.

    Some of the things you'll do on the job include--

    • Researching new digital media networks and third party data sources
    • Managing budgets and tracking media placements
    • Tracking hundreds of creative assets and ensuring they're being deployed in the right place at the right time
    • Analyzing data in Excel and other platforms to bring patterns and insights to light
    • Monitoring ongoing marketing campaigns and making recommendations for optimizing our spending

    Requirements

    Our requirements are--

    • Bachelors degree or better with considerable quantitative coursework
    • 1 year of professional experience in an office setting
    • Strong math and Excel skills
    • Understanding of Microsoft Office or Google Docs
    • Excellent spoken and written English-language skills at the C1-C2 level
    • Strong desire to learn the advertising business
    • Of course, if you're into video games, that's helpful as well

    • Attention to detail: Prioritize accuracy and precision in media planning, budgeting, and campaign execution to maximize campaign effectiveness. You are not a spot checker; you are thorough and know where to look to find the most common errors.
    • Problem-solving: Demonstrate resourcefulness in identifying and resolving challenges during media planning, buying, and activation. Employ a strategic and creative mindset to find efficient solutions without wasting time or energy.
    • Collaboration and teamwork: Thrive in a collaborative environment that values open communication and shared decision-making with colleagues. Demonstrate a willingness to accept and apply feedback constructively to your work.
