Satellite Teams is seeking for an Operatiosn Analyst who will be working for a global multi-manager hedge fund adviser, managing allocations in excess of $7 billion across its offices in New York, London, Hong Kong and Shanghai. The firm focuses primarily on structural approaches to generating alpha for institutional investors via a highly diversified portfolio of investment strategies, asset classes and geographies directed in collaboration with more than 140 established hedge funds and individual portfolio managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide operational support to portfolio managers including but not limited to assistance in trade execution and reporting, executing broker setup, stock loan/stock borrow and trade failure management.
Liaise with prime brokers, portfolio managers, and fund administrator to reconcile trade flow activity between the firm's fund administrator, order management system and prime brokers.
Review and calculate the impact of corporate actions on the fund's portfolios
Assist with onboarding new managers and prime brokers by reviewing and testing trade files to confirm they meet the specifications of the fund administrator and execution management systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Fluent in english and Spanish:

3 years of relevant alternative asset experience with an audit firm, fund administrator or an asset manager with a focus on operations.
Degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus.
Proficient in Excel.
Experience with order management systems such as Bloomberg AIM is a plus.
