We are looking for a FIN Head in Monterrey, the mission is to fulfil financial targets and responsibilities of assigned business, conduct operational and strategic decisions, drive people development and contribute with the growth strategy of EP NA for the assigned SI EP business in Mexico.

You will be responsible for financial management of the factory with approx. 1700 people and a business volume of 285 Mio € divided in different product lines

Serving the North America market. You will be responsible for the largest factory for Siemens in Latin America.


The Head of Finance has 5 direct reports and leads an overall organization of 300 professionals engaged in financial planning & analysis, factory controlling, Supply chain management and Logistics.


YOUR TASK AND RESPONSABILITIES

  • Partner for Head of factory to jointly drive business performance (measured in financial and nonfinancial KPI's)
  • Implementation of Strategies: develop and drive business models and strategies, including internal digitalization initiatives and automation projects in Finance.
  • Drive business results by proactively identifying opportunities for business process and finance improvements and ensuring timely execution. Drive continuous improvement in processes and high reliability in all delivery KPIs.
  • Serve as close Advisor and Business Partner to SI EP NA FIN and RC MX SI FIN in all questions related to financial performance, financial risk management, and compliant business operations while executing the EP business strategy. Timely address/escalate risks and opportunities
  • Facilitate the smooth operation in the factory lines in the country, contribute to definition and set up of value chain that ensures competitiveness and use crosscountry synergies where relevant
  • Ensure adherence of all relevant internal and external guidelines, procedures, quality standards and international Audit requirements
  • Drive and support of FX Hedging decisions in cooperation with the local Accounting and CF Team
  • Understand local Tax relevant guidelines (Value add Tax and Transfer price models) and steer the business accordingly to fulfill the requirements.
  • Planning and Forecasting: Develop Targets and drive the Planning and Forecasting process; Ensure a proper and correct reflection of Plan and Forecast in all relevant IT Tools on a regular basis
  • Financial Reporting and Closing: Ensure accurate financial reflection within the financial statements of your assigned business; Ensure the timely and accurately recording of all transactions within the relevant tools and IT Systems; manage and effective internal Controlling system and testing; Analyze discrepancies and be able to define action items and escalation procedures where KPI's do not match the expected performance.   • To ensure completeness and accuracy in Costing and Factory Regulative activities
  • Productivity: Champion productivity initiatives across assigned business; Ensure cost competitiveness jointly with Head of factory
  • Lead and monitor IT/OT operations and key initiatives. Ensure information security and cyber security
  • Management support: Support the different management level in their decision finding process; timely the agreed KPI's; timely address/escalate concerns and risks.
  • Ensure a compliant business behavior and serve as a Role Model for the finance community and beyond by living and promoting ownership culture and entrepreneurship.
  • Lead, motivate, coach and develop team of financial professionals to deliver business results and drive employee productivity and engagement.
  • Build and maintain trustful relationships with key stakeholders in the worldwide matrix organization. Strong cooperation with Entrepreneurs in USA and local Mexican HQ

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
years of working experience with solid knowledge in Business operations, Manufacturing, SCM, Logistics, controlling, finance and accounting.

  • Bachelor of Business degree, or comparable
  • Proven track record managing P&L and successful performance in product business. Experience in a manufacturing environment will be of added advantage
  • Strong understanding of annual budgeting and rolling forecast process
  • Strong Management and leadership mindset for stakeholder management and people development. Experience leading large teams and driving high performance culture
  • Proven ability to work successfully in a multinational environment and a matrix organization
  • Effective communication, presentation and networking skills up to executive level
  • Lead and proactively drive change and deliver compelling message to secure commitment and buyin
  • Inspire and motivate others to deliver results
