FEDE Engineer - Teamcenter (FEDE) Administration/Feature mgmt/Reporting Tools Development & Support


Job Description:


  • Partner with Quality Office and Vehicle Signoff teams to develop program structures for administration, execution, and measurement FEDE Workbench usecases
  • Administer all programs in FEDE Workbench by setting up program nodes, configuring variant & effectivity rules, and building structures in Teamcenter
  • Lead development, testing, and deployment of Feature Management & Reporting/Dashboard functionality within the Ford Engineering Design Environment (FEDE) systems engineering tool set
  • Seamlessly work with the IT matchedpair product teams to specify needed tool functionalities, elaborate & prioritize the backlog, and work within the Agile framework for deliveries
  • Develop tool training documentation and other learning materials in support of deployment to Product Development functional teams. Lead training where required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering required
  • 3+ years of experience with Ford Features and/or Modules management
  • Expertlevel experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM / Active Workspace
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work within cross functional teams.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills and teaching point of view
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable Engineering discipline
  • Working experience with Agile & SAFe methodologies and Rally backlog maintenance
  • Global working experience with partners in Europe, China, South America, and/or Australia
  • Experience with TC Requirements and Rich-Client UI
  • Strong working knowledge Systems Engineering principles, processes, and artifacts
