The Opportunity
The purpose of the Global Onboarding Associate Manager is to provide reasonable assurance regarding integrity of financial reporting, compliance with laws and policies and achievement of operational objectives by:

  • Leading the SOC program for the designated sectors
  • Delivering knowledge transfer sessions
  • Monitoring controls and work with markets to remediate any opportunities that exist
  • Supporting audits and thirdparty related activities
  • Contributing to continuous improvement

Responsibilities:


Your Impact
As Global Onboarding Associate Manager your scope would consist of

Complete assessments to determine whether there is any financial impact and whether any mitigating controls are required

Ensure non-compliant areas are logged and approved. Remediation activities are timely completed

Leading the SOC program for the designated sectors:

Partner with Service Owners, Information Security, Sector CIOs, Sector Controllers and be responsible for the operational delivery of the SOC program

Lead relationship with the service provider responsible for preparing the review of SOC reports to ensure they are complete and accurate as well as delivered on time

Identify and analyze security incidents reported in SOC reports. Evaluate the severity, impact, and potential risk associated with each incident. Work with service owners to understand root cause

Maintain accurate records of review of SOC reports. Prepare detailed reports, including findings, recommendations, and remediation steps

Ensure results of key monitoring activities are reported to stakeholders and business leadership

***Work with the Sector Leads to ensure controls are appropriately designed, executed, and monitored


Work with key stakeholders on other ad hoc projects, including preparing training materials, Global Control Standard reporting, change management process, risk management, etc.


Deliver knowledge transfer sessions:

Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to control and process owners

Ensure mandatory training is delivered to targeted population


Monitor controls and work with markets to remediate any opportunities that exist:
Ensure results of key monitoring activities, including any instances of fraud and the status of related investigations, are consistently reported to necessary stakeholders and business leadership


Contribute to productivity agenda by optimizing controls without raising level of risk to PepsiCo:
Work with control owners to identify opportunities to reduce process and control outages

Deliver one Kaizen project per year and deliver $20M in productivity


Support audits and third-party related activities:
Support internal and external audit activities

Identify opportunities to centralize execution and monitoring activities as well as support transition to third parties


Contribute to continuous improvement:

Work with business and IT partners to understand areas for improvement. Document output

Serve as SME to others to further automate and streamline access and SOC related processes

Identify opportunities for replication and reusability of existing technology to drive additional organizational efficiency

Work independently but also function well within the GPEX team to drive cross functional learning, development and sharing of leading practices


Qualifications:

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Experience
  • Understanding of the GCS framework
Work Experience: 4-5 years audit, project, or other relevant experience in IT general controls

  • Ability to work independently across many levels in the organization
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain and report technical issues in business English
  • Ability to collaborate with, as well as coach & mentor, less experienced colleagues
  • Ability to effectively engage and work with a global team
  • Client and delivery orientation
  • Fluent English lan
