Are you ready to join a team of risk professionals and play a crucial role in managing the risks faced by our firm? We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join us in Mexico City As an Operational Risk Manager, you will be based in Mexico City and join a team of risk professionals who ensure that our Operational Risk Management Framework is implemented effectively within Corporate and Investment Bank.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement the Compliance, Conduct, and Operational Risk Framework across all payments businesses
- Review and challenge firstline assessments
- Assess operational risks and control environments
- Monitor and test the effectiveness of controls
- Identify issues for remediation and review Key Risk Indicator and Key Performance Indicator thresholds
- Report on results, including changes in risk assessments
- Stay uptodate on industry news and regulatory developments
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 510 years of relevant industry experience, with a focus on financial services
- Experience in risk management, operations, production management, or frontoffice related payments activities
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Understanding of the products and services offered by payments businesses in Latin America
- Experience with local regulators and audit firms
- Strong credit risk knowledge
