Raw Materials Chemist Engineer - Guanajuato, México - Stellantis
Descripción
Job Description
Stellantis has crafted a bold strategic plan that paves the way to achieve carbon net zero by 2038. To deliver this objective the introduction of advanced technologies in Powertrain (like new energy storage cells), Electric and Electronics devices (like embedded electronics as well as electrical motors) involves more and more the knowledge on raw materials as key skill in the product development. In Global Purchasing and Supply Chain team (GPSC), the Materials and Technical Expertise group (MTE) is in charge to deal with raw materials technologies to secure them.
The candidate will be involved in activities concerning the electro-chemicals phenomena which regulate and influence the main working parameters of an energy cells.
In particular:
Mandatory background in chemistry of solid state / crystallinity of metals (Nickel, Cobalt, Lithium) / physics of solid matter
The candidate enables the management of the activities related to the raw materials in collaboration with suppliers and internal STELLANTIS teams (Purchasing, logistic, Sustainability, Circular Economy, Business intelligence...)
