Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Performs procedures that help ensure the global fixed asset cycle is in full compliance with the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
  • Oversees daily global fixed assets processes to ensure accounting procedures performed by team occurs accurately and within a timely manner.
  • Coordinates quarterly inquiries of project managers to ensure accurate asset capitalization and classification.
  • Review asset retirements and transfers for accuracy, including annual analyses to support retirement and/or impairment assessments.
  • Prepares monthly and quarterly global fixed assets reporting and performs variance analyses as necessary.
  • Prepares GL and subledger journal entries and account reconciliations and analyzes balance sheet and operating accounts.
  • Supports financial planning and analysis groups with annual depreciation budgets, as appropriate.
  • Remains current on fixed asset accounting trends and standards.
  • Supervises the daily responsibilities of the Fixed Asset Accountant, including completion and communication of annual performance evaluation.
  • Oversee effective data elements and integrations used by assetrelated subledgers and general ledger systems through coordination with Sr. Manager, Financial Reporting, Sr. Manager, Accounts Payable and other relevant business process owners.
  • Collaborate with business partners in global operational departments to ensure effective project accounting and reporting exists within the project accounting subledger and/or spreadsheets.
  • Provides recommendations and supports implementation of changes or enhancements to accounting systems, policies and procedures to drive improvements to the accuracy, integrity and quality of the Fixed Asset financial data, financial reporting and efficiency of the department.
  • Assists the Sr. Manager, Accounting with various account analyses, as needed.
  • Adheres to and ensures compliance of all internal and external financial reporting deadlines for self and team.
  • Primary Fixed Asset contact for internal and external audit groups; ensures all audit requests are filled timely.
  • Meet with internal and external audit teams regarding control procedures pertaining to fixed asset lifecycle controls ensure the overall maintenance of pertinent evidence substantiating procedures performed.
  • Partner and collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Support the Corporate Tax department on recording tax basis fixed asset depreciation and any necessary tax asset projects or tax reform impacting assets.
  • Supervises the Capital Asset Requisition process globally.
  • Lead the integration and onboarding of sites acquired through acquisition to Integer policies and procedures and assisting with migration to Oracle ERP.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum Experience:
  • 4+ years accounting experience, public accounting experience preferred.
  • 2+ years management experience preferred
  • Experience in large ERP manufacturing environment strongly preferred
  • Experience in a multinational organization preferred

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Special Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Ability to work virtually and collaboratively with business partners across multiple functions and geographic areas, including senior management.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills
  • Ability to work and draw conclusions independently within rigid deadlines
  • Detailed oriented with ability to manage multiple competing tasks, demands, and priorities
  • Experience effectively supervising a team.
  • Specialized Knowledge:
  • Working knowledge of SOX and U.S. GAAP accounting rules, inclusive of supporting financial statement preparation.
  • Experience in software and/or ERPs directly associated with internal and tax books.
  • Oracle and Hyperion experience preferred.
