We are currently seeking a
Materials Control Lead , reporting directly to Materials Manager to join our Materials team based in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.


About the Job


Supervise and supports the project in planning, controlling, and managing the Yard material and equipment activities to ensure that the correct quality and quantity of materials and equipment are properly received, stored, preserved, maintained, and issued.


Specific roles and responsibilities within these area of Materials Management and Warehouse:

  • Receive Material in SPMAT
  • Create Requisitions in SPMAT
  • Create and maintain OSD's
  • Create and maintain Destinations in SPMAT
  • Work with Warehouse supervision with material receipts and material inventory
  • Update Bill of Materials for Field Revised Drawings

Main accountabilities

  • Enforce procedures set up for the field control of material, and the documentation of all materials moving into and out of the Yard
- preservation and maintenance requirements for materials and equipment performed tracked as required under the warehouse care.

  • Custody, and control at the Yard.
  • The Yard Materials Coordinators lead by example and promotes HSES policies and procedures and enforces applicable procedures set up for the Yard.

Other responsibilities not typically considered part of scope:

  • Sign and physically receive material.
  • Physically inventory and verify material that Procurement purchased.
  • Asset Log
  • Daily spreadsheet for dirt deliveries

About You

Qualifications:
Technical or Bachelor degree


Languages:
Fluent English


Experience:
more than 5 years in position

Experience in EPC project for the oil and gas industry

(Mandatory CV in english)
