Supplier Quality Development Engineers work with suppliers during product launches to assure new products are provided on-time with the required quality level and reliability; with troubled suppliers in escalation to bring their performance to the correct levels; and evaluating potential new suppliers to supply our company.

Scholarship:

Engineer Bachelor Degree

Required Experience:

5 years of Automotive Experience

5 years in the position:

Knowledge required:

AIAG Control Plan, PPAP, MSA, VDA and AIAG FMEA, SPC (Core Tools), AIAG CQI19 Subsupplier Management
AIAG CQI Process Requirements
Customer-Specific Requirements for GM, Ford, Stellantis, VW, Nissan, Honda, BMW, Mercedes
Tooling and check fixture design and approval, GD&T
PDCA and Six Sigma Problem Solving, Lean Manufacturing
ISO19011 / Guideline audits
IATF 16949 / 2nd part auditor certificate
VDA 6.3 / auditor certificate

Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities Are:

Plan and lead APQP and PPAP with suppliers and cross-functional Inalfa team in launches
Facilitate seamless tool and business transfers from underperforming suppliers to new
Lead potential supplier evaluations by auditing to IATF 16949 and VDA standards
Lead internal and secondparty system, process, and product audits
Manage issue escalations and corrective actions with suppliers
Coordinate component engineering changes affecting entire region or globally
Use advanced problem solving skills to resolve difficult problems
Strong GD&T, tool, and check fixture knowledge. Experience with check fixture design and build
Travel required up to 75% in Mexico, the United States and other countries
Interface professionally with Customers, Suppliers, Purchasing, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, and Operations, and Third Party sorting company.
