To reinforce our Mexican plant to develop sinergy between Operations, R&D and Innovation, we are looking for:


Product Engineer:


Job purpose:

point of reference and owner for all technical information and technical activities related to the product of Gualapack Mexico, that is multilayer films and spouted pouches and caps.

What you get to do:

- collect, organize and manage the technical specifications of existing products
- define, with the support of corporate R&D, specifications of new products according to internal standards or customer requirements
- responsible of the bill of materials
- organize and manage, with the support of corporate R&D, the regulatory specifications of the products. Covering regulation compliance checks, testing with external labs and answering customer requirements
- responsible for the change management of raw materials or specifications, supported by corporate R&D and management team
- conduct testing of developmental samples or materials, following defined test protocols. Records test results appropriately and prepares reports for interpretation
- supports the engineers by assisting with trials on manufacturing equipment to test new raw material formulations and completing laboratory physical testing of these test products for validation
- support customers in testing and trials at their premises for new products or quality issues

What we are looking for:

- degree strongly preferred with emphasis on Chemistry, Materials or Engineering
years of industry-related experience (i.e. films, coatings, adhesives, etc.)
- basic mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and understanding of mechanical equipment
