Overview:

Main Purpose of the Role:


IT Vendor Management Analyst supports IT Vendor Relationship Manager with all aspects of the business and technology needs, agreements, and relationship with an IT Vendor.

Responsible for analyzing and validating consumption of IT Vendors, implement guidelines and processes for coordinating the operation of the resource, contract, and performance management, working with Sector & Global IT stakeholders and along with IT Procurement & IT Finance providing insights/reporting for IT Vendor Portfolio Management.

  • IT Vendor Governance and Relationship Management:
  • Assist in coordinating governance discussion for IT managed services and IT strategic Vendors
  • Creating and maintaining IT Vendor profiles for IT strategic & preferred Vendors
  • IT Vendor Performance Management:
  • Support Track, report and analyze the performance of IT strategic Vendors and IT managed services providers using Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Business Satisfaction Surveys
  • IT Vendor Contract Compliance and Sourcing Risk Management:
  • Resolves inquiries from IT stakeholders related to the IT contracts in place
  • Assist in manage the Contract Change management process
  • IT Vendor Resource Management:
  • Execute the validation of IT Vendor consumption data (e.g., resource unit validation, verifying calculations, ensuring volume pricing adjustments are applied, etc.) or Project related SOWs using established process.
  • Provide input into consumption trend analysis used to ensure best use of finite resources to support our business
  • Provide input to IT Finance to support the development of PepsiCo financial forecasts, financial business cases, and budget plans as required at a sector level
  • Work across IT Vendor Resource Management team to consistently deliver process (e.g., validation, service credits, data models, etc.) across services areas


Partners with IT services teams, IT Vendor representatives, and general IT associates to promote and deploy standard resource management sourcing processes.

Participates and provides support to IT VRM Managers in ad-hoc projects and initiatives inherent to the IT VRM department.


Qualifications:

Key Skills/Experience Required
Years of Experience

  • 4 years college degree or commensurate work experience

year experience in IT Vendor Relationship Management, IT Governance or Procurement areas with interest or knowledge in IT environment.

years experience Financial Management (preferable)
years experience in IT environment (most)
years in Contract Management

Tech Skills

  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent MS Office skills, in particular Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in English, both verbal and written
  • Negotiation and influence Skills
  • Medium to High level understanding of commercial contracts or IT contracts
