Your Job
Manage and direct operations to achieve business plan objectives while providing superior customer service and satisfaction

Organize, develop and train staff to perform at high levels to achieve department cost, quality and lead-time metrics

Foster an environment of continuous improvement with focus on mold FMEA, process optimization, FOT (First-Off-Tool), mold qualification and production plant mold transfer/startup

Support improvement to production tooling until key performance metrics are met. Ensure new tooling qualification and startup meet or exceed plant expectations. Ensure new tool post-mortems are completed timely and with sufficient data. Ensure "lessons learned" are incorporated back into the development process


Develop yearly plans focusing on continuous improvement with emphasis on new product launch, tooling technology, standardization, quality, cost reduction and lead-time reduction.

Support the use of GLSS tools and methods to increase department productivity and reduce waste. Review department progress on a monthly basis vs. key business plan metrics and goals.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Experience in a key connector manufacturing discipline (molding, stamping, plating, assembly)

People Management Experienced

Understanding of injection mold design, construction and assembly processes

knowledge of MP&L

Bilingual communication skills, both English and Spanish; both verbal and written

Strong communication skills with subordinates and all areas of management
