- Develop high-quality code for the Client's suite of products
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver software solutions based on specifications
- Design and implement user-friendly interfaces and intuitive user experiences that align with the unique needs of state government agencies
- Develop robust backend systems, APIs, and services to support front-end applications
- Perform peer reviews of code written by others
- Apply best practices to code development, including developing unit tests and applying secure coding techniques
- Mentor junior developers on the team
- Work with the scrum team daily
- Contribute to decisions made on determining effort and complexity
- Participate in scrum ceremonies
- Proven professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, with a focus on C# development with 2+ years experience in .NET Core and Entity Framework
- Strong experience with SQL Server and database design/development using SQL Server (we are currently in 2019 and greater)
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as Javascript, JQuery, and Bootstrap Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Solid understanding of source control systems (Git, SVN) and Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS, and deploying applications to cloud environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A self-starter who succeeds by researching solutions and solving problems
- Experience with RESTful Web Services
