Job Description:

Identifies, develop, lead, implement and follow up improvement and/or cost savings/avoidance projects in logistics. Additionally, manages cleaning supplier operations and project improvements & supports on budget building and forecast analysis.
The packaging specialist must understand the daily operations of the packaging department to correctly execute the function.
Reports directly to Packaging Coordinator.

  • Identifies, develop, lead, implement and follow up improvement and/or cost savings/avoidance projects in logistics
  • Supports Packaging team in daily operational topics
  • Support implementation of automation of packaging processes together with support departments
  • Any additional project required is also managed by packaging specialist until definition of new owner is fulfilled
  • Returnable packaging annual inventory control and adjustments.
  • Active involvement on purchasing tenders for suppliers together with Purchasing
  • Analysis and monitoring of the packaging budget and forecast (Business Plan, Current Forecast, monthly cost reports)

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor degree Industrial Engineering, Logistic Engineering, Packaging Engineering or equivalent
- +3 years experience in logistics/packaging related activities

  • Advanced English
  • General Packaging processes knowledge
  • Advanced


  • Warehouse processes knowledge

  • Intermediate
  • SAP Logistics transactions knowledge
  • Advanced
  • Finished Goods and/or raw material planning processes knowledge
  • Preferred
  • Budget & forecast development and tracking knowledge/skills
  • Intermediate

  • Disposition to work in Juarez Area 95% and visit to ELP Warehouse 5%
