- Develop PSW and Control Plans, conduct Process Capability and GR&R studies as part of PPAP submissions
- Report PPM levels per Client
- Address customer feedback effectively
- Implement action plans for customer demands/complaints
- Execute corrective actions and have the authority to stop processes that are out of parameters
- Maintain controlled documents such as Control Plan, PFMEA, Operator Work Instruction, In-Process Inspection, Equipment Check Sheet, etc
- Engage in multidisciplinary Team activities including APQP, FMEA, DOE, 8D, PSO y FTQ
- Lead cross-functional teams in solving quality issues using root-cause analysis tools
- Conduct follow-up on corrective actions through internal audits
- Report non-conformities in product or process
- Interpret engineering drawings and standards accurately
- Engineering Degree
- +3 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, statistics, control plans
- Previous experience as a Quality Engineer in an IATF 16949 automotive setting
- Proficiency in using customer portals
- Experience in an automotive regulated environment (Tier 1 and OEM) is preferred
- Proficiency in Advanced English (written and spoken)
- Proficient in Problem Solving methodologies
- Working Knowledge of SPC, Capability Analysis, Gage R&R and Statistical Techniques
- Ability to support quality engineering development activities, continuous improvement initiatives, and quality management tools effectively
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently to execute strategies and achieve targets
- Hands-on experience with tools of IATF 16949, especially Core tools and Root Cause Analysis
- Familiarity with Minitab or other statistical software is highly desirable
- Ability to understand and interpret blueprints, familiarity with GD&T is advantageous
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools and other software products
- Willingness to travel within the US, Mexico, and other international locations as required
- Background in Human Resources management
- Knowledge applicable to the role in IATF 16949 and ISO 14001

Job Summary
TE Connectivity's Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams assess product and production systems' capability to meet customer and contractual requirements by focusing on established reliability factors. They are involved in designing, implementing quality control systems, developing analytical methods for assessing product reliability, and analyzing relative reliability in terms of cost, structure, weight, maintainability, production efficiency, and material and equipment availability. Our teams are dedicated to creating, implementing, and monitoring environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations at all levels - federal, state, and local. Additionally, they are responsible for ensuring compliance with government regulations and industry standards related to product environmental requirements, managing technical specifications, quality control programs, and reliability programs, leading to the enhancement of material and labor efficiency.
