We are hiring an

Architectural Solutions Specialist to high-performance professional that assists Steelcase US and Canadian Dealers, sales teams, and internal requestors, by giving specialized specification and technical support. This design position will be focused on architectural walls projects that requires full specification outputs using Steelcase Architectural Solutions portfolio.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Grows Steelcase Architectural Solutions sales by offering specification support to dealers without capability or who are at capacity.
  • Checks Project Management System (Salesforce) once assigned and updates project status.
  • Informs project contact (Project Coordinator/Salesperson/Dealer) of missing information.
  • Requests kickoff call with Dealer/Salesperson and involves Applications Consultant when appropriate.
  • Defines type of deliverable needed for each project and confirms due date with project contact.
  • Specifies fullscope Architectural Solutions projects (V.I.A. Privacy Wall/Glass Selections, Lite Scale, Thread, Sound Masking, Low Profile Floor)
  • Provides Specification Documents when requested (shop drawings, pack & go, BOMs, SIF files and AutoCAD drawings) that are validated, and value engineered.
  • Supports Project Managers by calling out possible site issues based on construction documents.
  • Populates full project scope with a schematic design.

Who You Are:


Required Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture is a must.
  • Advanced English is a must.
  • Project based experience with Revit Architecture is a plus.
  • Practical and technical understanding of building materials and elements, structures and construction is a must.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Can work with multiple internal clients simultaneously.
  • Has great written and oral communication skills
  • Understands architectural construction drawings.
  • Knowledgeable about interior design and space planning
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Capable of providing architectural graphics, plans, sections, and elevations
  • Familiar with North America architectural codes, electrical codes, and seismic codes
