We're currently seeking the
Main responsibilities and duties :
Responsible for the compliance of occupational health and safety and environmental regulations, and for enforcing discipline policy for all on-site employees, in compliancy with AKWEL ethics code and anticorruption charter. He/she is responsible of customers' satisfaction and ensures production activity smooth and draws on internal or external production resources aiming to ensure production profitability. He/she must operate in compliance with AKWEL Group requirements, strategy, policies and QSE2 management system.
Champion the risk analysis to understand the context and issues, the interested parties and their expectations and the risks and opportunities concerning the entity, and as a preliminary activity for the preparation of the industrial plan.
Submit to the Executive VP Operations of the region proposals for the local production strategy. In this respect, he/she develops an Industrial plan in conjunction with Business Development, Sales & Marketing, Industrial Development, Purchasing and Finance Directors, as well as the group's functional departments. The budget deals with short-term prospects (3 years) of the Industrial plan (5 years).
Operate on the operational level to oversee the human and technical resources required for the production processes in line with the Industrial plan approved by the Management Board and the MPD guidelines:
Propose the local QSE2 policy, including local targets and communicate it to all the team of the entity.
Is responsible for ensuring the implementation of local legislation regarding health and safety, insurance, competition, taxes, labor law and environmental matters,
Is responsible for the quality of products delivered by the plant and ensures that the quality is at least compliant with technical specifications defined by customers and the Group, this responsibility is shared with product line directors.
Monitor entity's performance ( QCD & HSE) with special attention to health and safety and customer satisfaction, and ensure regular communication to all the team in the entity.
Champion the deployment of the industrial plan through the CIP (continuous improvement plan) pushing all departments in the entity to improve performance.
Implement the plant's organization and coach and develop plant's teams, organize communication and manage social climate
Supervise functional departments staff located in the plant
Requirements :
A-levels + minimum 5 years technical studies strengthened by 8 to 10 years manufacturing experience in industry
Professional abilities
Good communication skills, teamwork, analytical mind, rigor, strong leadership.
Ability to manage a profit center, good proficiency in management accounting
Good command of IT equipment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint...).
Proficiency in English or French.
Technical knowledge
