    Job Summary:

    Flowserve is seeking a Buyer to contribute to the team's objectives by securing the purchase of subcontracted components and services at optimal price, quality, and deadline conditions, in line with recommendations from the global Supply Chain Team.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Negotiate best prices and commercial conditions to ensure optimal component supply and maximum profit.
    • Support service centers at customer quotation stage to achieve competitive pricing and delivery terms.
    • Monitor orders to ensure on-time delivery from external suppliers and intercompany orders.
    • Proactively identify and resolve issues with importing processes and coordinate problem-solving for contractual deliveries.
    • Establish supply agreements with key suppliers for preferential pricing and delivery.
    • Review stock levels to maintain optimal inventory on site.

    Preferred Experience/Skills:

    • Proficiency in purchasing techniques.
    • Knowledge and implementation of technical requirements and quality standards related to products at the purchasing level.
    • Fluency in English.
    • Good understanding of main purchasing areas: negotiations, supplier evaluation and development, supplier quality, logistics, etc.
    • Knowledge of market requirements.
    • Global and strategic negotiating skills.
    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
