- Lead transport flow design
- Lead reengineering of transport flows as continuous improvement
- Generate freight costs savings
- Analyze the performance of the transport flows (truck filling rate, gap to ultimate)
- Balance freight costs vs inventory costs to find the optimum supply chain cost for the company
- Organize Transport Network Design workshops in the plants or region
- Be accountable for the deployment of the BG/Group freight optimization strategy:Promote the transport strategy within his/her organizationSupport on master data accuracy and consistency with the support of plantsIdentify key priorities for flow evolution to improve costs and inventory through a prioritized action-planImplement standard transport process (including KPI's setting, tools development, trainings and adherence to standards PDCA follow-up)Guarantee a continuous update of the savings throughout the project
- When needed, support the Operations/Division with expertise and coaching
- Manage communication channel with Transport Purchasing and with all other internal customers
- Prepare and lead the workshops in plants, divisions with strong focus on freight costs optimization.
- Identify key priorities for flow evolution
- Guarantee the correct savings recording
- Collaborate with other BGs to ensure the X-BG synergy identification
- Responsible for the preparation, qualification, specification and target flows.
- Promote the new transport approach within his/her organization
- Secures the right cleansing of master data before transformation launch
- Perform other tasks that are similar or functionally connected, using the required qualifications and competencies to help achieve the goals of the team/organization.
