Position Summary

Vehicle Electrification Systems (VES) division at APTIV is looking for a
Product Engineer to join our team in designing, developing and launching our cutting-edge electric vehicle chargers to the market.

As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the launch of our new electric vehicle chargers, from design to production.

You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers and are successfully brought to the market.

Your Role

Lead the development and launch of our new electric vehicle chargers ensuring that they meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
Highlevel customer meetings and presentations to ensure the customer needs are understood and incorporated into the product's design.
Coordinate with crossfunctional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to ensure successful product launch.
Manage the product lifecycle, from design through production and endoflife.
Drive continuous improvement activities to optimize product design, quality, and cost.
Develop and implement test plans to ensure that products meet all applicable regulations and standards

Your Background

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related.
90% English (written and verbal)
Experience managing projects from design through production and launch
Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
2D and 3D Design Recommended.
