    Main responsibilities of the position : Plan and lead the installation and sequencing of machines, workstations, tools, parts and supplies to optimize the efficiency of the production process.

    Prepare engineering process documentation.

    Coordinates with stakeholders to develop improvement plans which support established manufacturing methods, practices, and designsUses Terex Business System tools to gather information on current state conditions (cycle time, lead time, scrap rate, test results, etc.)o Analyzes that data to show gaps in performance which need closing.

    o Researches and analyzes design proposals against Design for Manufacturability (minimize waste in production processes and reduce cost).
    Applies statistical measures to estimate future manufacturing requirements.
    Participates in ECO's meetings to follow up from creation up to implementation.
    Researches and recommends parts, supply, and maintenance tasks, safety procedures, and servicing schedules at the pace production requires.
    Assists Design and Project Engineers, external customers, and manufacturing team members to resolve product level issues from production.
    Participates with Design Engineers to discuss and evaluate new product design or re-design and manufacture.

    Conducts periodic inspections of various aspects of the manufacturing process such as, but not limited to assembly, welding, and machine operations.

    Performs other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.

    Performs continuous improvement projects to increase productivity, output, reduce downtime, cost, and / or scrapMain job-specific requirements / skills : Prior project or leadership experience preferred.

    Excellent problem-solving skills.
    Excellent planning and time management skills.

    Specialized professional knowledge of the theory, principles, and practices of mechanical or industrial engineering in an industrial environmentWorking knowledge of Solidworks or equivalent programs.

    Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated teamworkTechnical writing skills sufficient to prepare product specifications, test, and process documentation.

    Ability to problem solve using statistical analysis and critical thinking sillsHands on experience CNC equipment such as Lathes and Mills preferred (Programming, Optimizing, t troubleshooting, etc.)Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics, blueprints.

    Ability to use AutoCAD or equivalent engineering software.

    Demonstrated ability to convert engineering principles into actionable production plansPrior knowledge and practice with Lean Manufacturing, Just-in-Time, and Total Quality Management.

    Ambulatory ability to walk and stand on a continuous basis; to bend, stoop, and kneel on an intermittent basis; to lift medium weight objects up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.

    Demonstrated exceptional communication skills primarily in person, but occasionally in other mediums with customers and suppliers
