Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and implementation of backend systems
  • Be accountable for all aspects of your work, from research and analysis to testing and
deployment in production as well as on-call rotation

Required skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a backend software engineering role
  • Experience with NodeJS and TypeScript
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, RDS)
  • Experience with Serverless Framework and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
  • Experience building services utilizing GraphQL and REST
technologies

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Experience with AWS and Azure
  • Serverless first mentality
  • Experience with Agile software development and working within defined project
management methodologies and timelines
